This policy explains what personal data Octavian Dynamics collects when you use octaviandynamics.com, our shop, workspace and consulting services, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).
1. Who we are
Octavian Dynamics ("we", "us") is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected], +2349155743615 or Flat 17, Chief Benjamin Wopara Plaza, Ogbum Nu Agbali, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number and a password (stored only as a one-way hash).
- Order details: the items you buy, delivery address, order history and the payment reference Paystack gives us.
- Workspace bookings: the plan, date, time, seat and access code of each booking, plus any reschedule or cancellation.
- Coupon sign-ups: the name, email address and phone number you enter on the Get Coupon page.
- Messages you send us, and technical data such as your IP address and browser type, which our servers log for security.
We do not receive or store your card number. Card payments are handled entirely by Paystack.
3. Why we use it

- To process orders, bookings, payments, refunds, deliveries and receipts (performance of a contract).
- To send service emails such as order confirmations, booking codes, password resets and payment links (performance of a contract).
- To issue and verify coupons you request (consent).
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure (legitimate interest).
- To keep financial records required by Nigerian tax and accounting law (legal obligation).
4. Coupon sign-ups create an account
When you claim a coupon with an email address that does not already have an account, we create an account for you and email a link to set your password. You can ask us to delete that account at any time.
5. Signing in with Google
If you choose "Continue with Google", Google tells us your name, email address, whether Google has verified that email, your profile picture and a Google account ID. We use them only to create or sign in to your account, and to link it to an existing account with the same verified email. We never receive your Google password and we do not store Google access tokens. You can remove Google sign-in from your account settings once you have set a password.
6. Who we share it with
We share only what each provider needs to do its job:
- Paystack, to take payments and issue refunds.
- Resend, to deliver our emails.
- Our hosting and database providers, which store the site and its data on our behalf.
- Delivery partners, who receive your name, phone number and address for shop orders.
We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose it when the law or a lawful request from an authority requires it.
7. International transfers
Some of these providers store or process data outside Nigeria. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards the NDPA allows, such as the provider's contractual data-protection commitments.
8. How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open. Order, booking and payment records are kept for as long as Nigerian tax and accounting law requires (currently at least six years). Server logs are kept for a short period for security. When data is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.
9. Your rights
Under the NDPA you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your personal data;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data, where we are not required to keep it;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- send your data to you or another provider in a portable format;
- withdraw any consent you gave, without affecting earlier use.
Email [email protected] to make a request. We will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and remember your cart. See our Cookie Policy for details.
